The Aspen Picture Map is our city's most available page. Since 1974, visitors have used the map to find lodging, dining, shopping, and services.
By far the biggest user is the Aspen Chamber Resort Association, at its several information centers. They open and pass out thousands every year at the airport, and especially at the kiosk at Cooper & Galena, in the heart of downtown.
Retailers, restaurants, and realtors keep supplies in stock for free distribution. Every Aspen hotel uses the map with guests, as do most in Snowmass.
The map comes out in annual editions. These debut on December 21. Through the year following, maps go public at some 300+ venues all over Aspen/Snowmass.

To advertise in the next edition, for 2025
Sales period is September/October. But please be in touch any time. The 2025 edition will debut on the usual date, Dec. 21, to go public all over Aspen/Snowmass through the full 365 days thereafter.
The listing is the basic unit of advertising. Every advertising package starts with a listing.
A listing: 1) places one business name on the map picture itself, and 2) provides one writeup on the back side, among the classifieds. You choose the category where your writeup will appear. You compose the writeup. The listing writeup starts with the business name, shown at the top in bold type. It is followed by four text lines below. These lines contain all other information, including contact/location. The listing costs $395, full year.
Add more text or appear in additional categories. Those who purchase a listing can have a writeup longer than the standard four lines. They can also purchase extra writeups in other categories. For details, please see the Writeup Guide.
Compose and Submit. If you'd like, you can compose and submit a basic listing on the form we provide. Just click below.
Display ad spaces are offered to those who take a listing in the map. Ads vary in size, position, and price. Among the possibilities, two standard types are shown in the rate sheet. The limited supply is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. We keep a list of those who want an ad. We consult this list when spaces come open, and will always prefer those who have made a definite commitment. We will be happy to discuss your questions and ideas for a display ad. Contract/Payment. Upon completing our arrangement, we will compose an invoice that displays every detail. We will email the invoice for your inspection and approval. We expect payment in full by January 15 at the latest. Payment received before that date gets a $40 discount. We prefer payment via check. We accept credit card payments and bank ACH transfers. Please inquire.
The next edition, for 2025, will debut on December 21, 2024. Deadline for submissions is November 1, 2024.
