The Aspen Picture Map is our city's most available page. Since 1974, visitors have used the map to find lodging, dining, shopping, and services.

By far the biggest user is the Aspen Chamber Resort Association, at its several information centers. They open and pass out thousands every year at the airport, and especially at the kiosk at Cooper & Galena, in the heart of downtown.

Retailers, restaurants, and realtors keep supplies in stock for free distribution. Every Aspen hotel uses the map with guests, as do most in Snowmass.

The map comes out in annual editions. These debut on December 21. Through the year following, maps go public at some 300+ venues all over Aspen/Snowmass.

Concierges love the Aspen Picture Map. Aspen's most prestigious hotels keep them in stock, and in use.

Our
Story

The Aspen Picture Map made its debut in 1974, to serve our community and our visitors by providing an attractive, easy-to-use guide to lodging, dining, retail, and services. The imaginative format was instantly popular. It wasn't long before the map—conceived, produced, and distributed by dedicated locals—became an Aspen institution, and a genuinely local success. Through most of its fifty-two years its circulation has been unsurpassed. It has long been the favorite for use at front desks, the preferred reference for concierges, and the stand-out resource at our information counters. Every hotel in Aspen, and most in Snowmass, uses the Aspen Picture Map with guests. Likewise our Chamber Resort Association. We are constantly refreshing their supplies. It is also the easiest publication for visitors to find on their own. In sum, few visitor information resources have served the Aspen business community so well as the Aspen Picture Map.
